Brittney Ellis, M.A.

Teacher

Mrs. Ellis is a California native who specializes in English and the Humanities. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Arts in Humanities with an emphasis in Literature.

Drawing on her Latina heritage, she brings a culturally responsive approach to her teaching, ensuring every student feels seen, heard, and supported. Over the past decade, she has focused on individualized academic support, helping students build strong grades, pursue their interests, and develop the organization and motivation needed for long-term success.

Mrs. Ellis is also a published author and poet, with work featured in several regional anthologies and two projects nearing release.

Outside the classroom, she enjoys an active lifestyle with her husband, two children, and their dog, including tennis, snowboarding, hiking, and swimming. In quieter moments, she can be found with a good book, tackling a puzzle, playing video games, or watching hockey.
