Farzad Ghamsari is an educator, coach, and outdoor enthusiast with a Master's degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from San Francisco State University, where his research focused on nitric oxide signaling in muscle stem cell activation. That scientific background informs his passion for teaching physics, chemistry, and mathematics, helping students see how these disciplines connect and making challenging concepts accessible and engaging.

For Mr. Ghamsari, great teaching means more than academic content. He is committed to building students' curiosity, confidence, resilience, and leadership, creating spaces where they feel safe taking risks, learning from mistakes, and discovering their potential.

Beyond the classroom, Mr. Ghamsari coaches soccer and works as a ski instructor. He is an avid skier, trail runner, and hiker, and he feeds his sense of adventure through travel, motorcycle rides through scenic landscapes, and a love of music, including playing drums and attending live concerts.
