Originally from Miami, Florida, Danielle Arca traded palm trees for skis when she moved to Aspen, Colorado in 2015 and then to Tahoe in the spring of 2021. She’s a lifelong educator and Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has been gifted with the ability to make people feel seen and heard. She began working as a member of the Counseling Faculty at Scottsdale Community College teaching personal growth and development classes. Her expertise includes college admissions, guidance and career counseling; personal therapy and crisis counseling; and teaching and tutoring. After working for eight years as a College and Guidance Counselor for a top private college preparatory school in Miami, Gulliver Prep, she became the Founder of Riviera Preparatory’s Counseling Department and created ExpertAdmit to work privately as an educational consultant. She coached girls’ volleyball for four years, tutored Spanish and taught yoga. She speaks four languages, is obsessed with animals and wildlife, passionate about the outdoors, and loves to sing, dance, surf and snowboard. It is with great excitement that she now shares her passions and expertise with the students, families and staff of Lake Tahoe Preparatory School.
