David holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona, where he specialized in child development and adolescent behavioral support. He brings a comprehensive background in youth programming, clinical practice, and residential treatment.

While completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Nevada, Reno—where he also earned All-Conference honors in rugby—David ran logistics for adolescent camps, gaining early leadership experience. He later spent five years as the Program Coordinator for youth and adult programming at his local recreation center, overseeing curriculum development, operations, and staff supervision.

David also worked within the psychiatric hospital system for more than five years, beginning as a therapist at Reno Behavioral Healthcare Hospital. He later advanced into the role of Clinical Program Manager, where he supervised the clinical team under the guidance of the Clinical Director. His work in this setting provided deep experience in crisis response, treatment planning, team leadership, and multidisciplinary care coordination.

Originally from Truckee, CA, David is passionate about creating positive, structured, and supportive environments that help young people thrive. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog, as well as skiing, mountain biking, and exploring the outdoors.
