Deanna Lopez

BA: University of California at Los Angeles 

MA: Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, at the Graduate School of Education and Psychology, Pepperdine University 

Deanna earned her Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. She has dedicated her career to focusing on treating adolescents who were in outpatient, partial hospitalization programs, and residential programs dealing with Anxiety, Depression, and other trauma related disorders. Deanna has a passion for assisting young people in learning and implementing effective coping skills to manage their mental health concerns, academic, and personal stressors. Deanna’s approach is in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Attachment Based Family Therapy (ABFT). Deanna also utilizes a strengths based approach and motivational interviewing style in order to help adolescents achieve desirable outcomes and empower them to make positive changes in their lives. Deanna enjoys hot yoga, reading, taking long walks, traveling and live music.
