Donna Axton has been a professional musician for her whole adult life and played piano in a “Country Western Boogie Woogie Gospel Rock and Roll" touring band for 14 years She was a professor of Music and Psychology at Sierra Nevada College and is currently the musical director of the North Tahoe Community Choir. Her son, Matthew Axton is a singer songwriter who also tours the country. This past summer Donna got to return to the stage to play piano with him and his band, “Bad Moon”.at several local concerts. She enjoys living in this beautiful Tahoe area and hiking with her dogs, Bella and Beau.
