Mrs. Kristina Miranda brings over 18 years of experience in the field of Special Education. She began her career in California's Central Valley in 2007, providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for students throughout San Joaquin County. In 2012, she expanded her practice to the Lake Tahoe region, continuing to deliver specialized ABA services across Placer and Nevada counties. 

With a strong clinical foundation, Mrs. Miranda transitioned into private care, offering academic school shadowing and in-home support for students on the autism spectrum. This hands-on experience allowed her to develop individualized, student-centered strategies that bridge behavioral and academic growth. 

Currently services as a Learning Specialist at Lake Tahoe Preparatory School, Mrs. Miranda integrates her expertise in behavioral intervention with her passion for equitable education. She is pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching, Special Education, and teaching credential through Western Governors University. Her work is guided by a deep belief in the transformative power of supportive, adaptive education to help every student reach their full potential.

Mrs. Miranda resides in Truckee, California, with her husband Jake, and their dog, Jamiroquai.
