Therapeutic Service Provided

LTP provides a variety of therapeutic services to enrolled students.

Individual Therapy

Students enrolled in the therapy program will be matched with a licensed therapist. Weekly one-on-one sessions provide students the opportunity to discuss their concerns or issues in a safe, supportive environment. Individual therapy allows students to examine any past or present events that might be underlying factors. Some therapeutic modalities include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, or Mindfulness Based Therapy.

Group Therapy

Group therapy involves a group of less than 8 students engaging in a therapy session, facilitated by a licensed clinician. These sessions allow students to safely share their emotions and experiences, which allows them to bond with each other and receive support from their peers. Groups offered are psychoeducational (or skills based), process oriented, or experiential in nature.

Family Therapy

At the request of parents or students, family therapy can be conducted onsite or via HIPAA-compliant telehealth. Family therapy can help parents and students to strengthen their family bond or improve dynamics interfering with healthy parent/child relationships.
